The Arizona Diamondbacks won their series against Los Angeles with a 4-1 win over the Dodgers on Sunday.

Starter Ian Kennedy continued to impress dominating Los Angeles throwing six innings only giving up one run with eight strikeouts.

Xavier Nady and Ryan Roberts homered for Arizona provided the only offense that Kennedy and the bullpen would need.

The trio of Esmerling Vasquez, David Hernandez and J.J. Putz relieved Kennedy and finished off Los Angeles.

Putz is now 9-for-9 in save chances this season.

The only negative for Arizona was their continued inability to hit with runners in scoring position going 0-for-6 on Sunday.

The D-backs finished their nine-game road trip with a 3-6 record and return home on Monday for a seven-game homestand.
