PHOENIX – The Arizona Diamondbacks have been without the services of shortstop Stephen Drew for about a month now and fill-in Willie Bloomquist has done an admirable job, but the team is still looking for another option.

Dbacks will also look at backup shortstop thorugh waiver wire trade looking for insurance for Willie Bloomquist.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Bloomquist has done well as Drew’s replacement batting .278 but the team doesn’t have much behind him if he were to get hurt.

Arizona probably could land a decent shortstop without having to give up much in terms of prospects.
