After every Arizona Diamondbacks game we’ll examine the
box score and
provide you with instant analysis. So it’s time to go
Inside the Box for
October 5, 2011: Diamondbacks 10, Brewers 6

The Good:

Bombs away!

The Diamondbacks hit their groove on Wednesday. They smacked four home runs, including a Ryan Roberts grand slam that put the D-backs in the lead for good. The team set all sorts of postseason records with their homers.

The Bad:

Gerardo Parra continued his hitless streak. He has yet to get a hit in the postseason.

Starting pitcher Joe Saunders had to be pulled in the third inning after giving up three runs, five hits and two walks. Not exactly the case you want to make for yourself to pitch again should the D-backs win the series in Milwaukee.

The Funky:

Tickets for the potential NLCS series go on sale Thursday at 9:00 a.m.
