Chris Young, typically a calm player, had a rare loss of temper Wednesday night.
In the top of the seventh inning with two outs and bases loaded, Young was ejected for the first time in his career after a questionable strike three call to end the inning.
Young immediately threw his bat and helmet to the ground, and begun yelling at home plate umpire Larry Vanover.
Vanover tossed Young, who had to be held back by manager Kirk Gibson, who practically drug Young back to the Diamondbacks dugout.
Justin Upton, who was on second base at the time, was also ejected for apparently clapping and making comments while Young was yelling at the umpire. This marked just the second time Upton has been ejected in his career.
