Kevin Kolb sits atop initial Cardinals depth chart

Jul 30, 2012, 9:49 PM | Updated: 11:21 pm

For what it’s worth, Kevin Kolb will be the Arizona
Cardinals’ starting QB Sunday in the Hall of Fame Game.

The Cardinals released their first depth chart of the preseason Monday,
and Kolb is listed first, with challenger John
Skelton his backup.

Chances are the order is insignificant for now, as
Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt has alternated between both
Kolb and Skelton throughout training camp, and preseason
starts will likely be no different.

While Kolb will get the nod Sunday against the Saints,
Skelton figures to be under center when the Cardinals visit
the Chiefs the following week.

Of note, though, is Jeremy Bridges being the first-string
right tackle over rookie Bobby Massie, Ryan Williams leading
the way at running back and free agent acquisition William
Gay starting on the other side of Patrick Peterson at
cornerback.
