When Major League Baseball announced the suspensions for the D-backs/Dodgers brawl that took place on June 11, many questioned why Arizona’s Eric Hinske received a five-game ban.
After all, according to video and even first-person accounts, the infielder did little more than get punched while trying to keep the peace.
So, perhaps it should come as no surprise that the suspension, following an appeal, has been reduced.
