It was a banner Saturday for Arizona Diamondbacks first baseman Paul Goldschmidt at Chase Field.
First, the 25-year-old was voted into his first All-Star Game. Then, he set a new career-high with his 21st home run of the 2013 season in the third inning of the D-backs’ 11-1 rout of the Colorado Rockies.
Of his 21 home runs in 2013, only six have been of the solo variety. Twelve have been hit away from home, four have come in the eighth inning or later, and two have cleared the bases with three runners on.
To honor the All-Star’s personal feat, here’s a breakdown of every long ball he’s hit this season.
