Reactions to Paul Goldschmidt’s second place NL MVP finish

On Thursday, the Baseball Writer’s Association of America announced its final vote tally for the National League Most Valuable Player award, handing honors to the Pittsburgh Pirates’ Andrew McCutchen. Arizona Diamondbacks’ first baseman Paul Goldschmidt finished second.
