...

A first-inning home run off the bat of Paul Goldschmidt once again gave the Arizona Diamondbacks an early lead against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Only this time, it lasted.

With Bronson Arroyo on the mound, the Diamondbacks grabbed a 6-3 series finale win over their division rivals, salvaging a win in the final contest of the road trip.

They snapped a four-game losing streak in the process, as they entered the game having lost five of their last six games.

Arroyo lasted just 5.0 innings, but gave up just one earned run, exiting after throwing 78 pitches.

His counterpart, Josh Beckett, went 7.0 innings, giving up three earned runs.

Here’s a look at the win by the numbers:

0

The top two spots in the Diamondbacks’ order, consisting of Didi Gregorius and Gerardo Parra, combined to go 0-for-9 on the day, striking out a total of four times and never once reaching base.

2

Dodgers’ baserunners were 1-for-3 in stolen base attempts during the series, despite entering the game having successfully stolen in all nine of their attempts against Miguel Montero and the Diamondbacks.

5

The Diamondbacks’ win Sunday was just their fifth in franchise history on Father’s Day. They are 5-12 all time on the holiday.

8

The Diamondbacks’ eight hits Sunday were their fewest of the three-game series. Their six runs scored, however, were the most they scored in any of the games over the weekend. In both losses, they outhit the Dodgers, but on Sunday — their only win of the series — they were outhit.

12

Addison Reed has now allowed a run in 12 of his 31 appearances for the Diamondbacks this season, after giving up an RBI double to Hanley Ramirez in the bottom of the ninth.

18

Montero is hitting .318 with five home runs, three doubles and 15 RBI over his last 18 games. On Sunday, he went 2-for-4 with a ninth-inning home run and two RBI.

41

After starting the season 9-22, the Diamondbacks are 21-20 over their last 41 games.
