Report: Arizona Diamondbacks tender contracts to six players

The Arizona Diamondbacks tendered contracts to all six of their arbitration-eligible players on Tuesday according to The Arizona Republic’s Nick Piecoro.
Dbacks say they have tendered contracts to all six of their arb eligible players: Pennington, Hernandez, Hellickson, Trumbo, Miley, Reed.

The six players tendered include: infielder Cliff Pennington, first-baseman/outfielder Mark Trumbo, relief pitcher David Hernandez, closer Addison Reed and starting pitchers Wade Miley and the recently-acquired Jeremy Hellickson.
Pennington played 68 games last season for Arizona, hitting .254 with two home runs and 10 RBIs.
Trumbo hit .235 in 88 games during his first season as a D-back. He hit 14 round-trippers and drove in 61 runs in 328 at-bats.
Hernandez underwent Tommy John surgery in April and did not play at all in 2014. In 2013, he appeared in 62 games with the D-backs, earning two saves and 15 holds with a 4.48 ERA.
Reed earned 32 saves in 38 save opportunities during his first year in Arizona. He went 1-7 with a 4.25 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 62 appearances.
Miley started 33 games for Arizona last season, going 8-12 with a 4.34 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 183 strikeouts.
Hellickson started 13 games for the Tampa Bay Rays last season, going 1-5 with a 4.52 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 54 strikeouts.
