Mercury defeat Tulsa on last second shot in overtime

The Phoenix Mercury prevailed in an overtime thriller against the Tulsa Shock by winning 87-84 at U.S. Airways Center on Tuesday night.

DeWanna Bonner came up with this clutch buzzer beating three-point shot as time expired in the overtime period to give the Mercury a come-from-behind victory over Tulsa.

Bonner finished the game with a team-high 25 points on 6-of-16 shooting from the field, including three made three-point shots. She also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out three assists.

Brittney Griner chipped in 18 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the double-double. Candice Dupree had 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting in the Mercury victory.

The win improves the Mercury to 13-7 as they sit two games behind the Minnesota Lynx in the Western Conference standings.
