The National Hockey League is running out of time to save its 2012-13 season, and Monday’s news won’t help matters.

After cancelling the 2013 Winter Classic, 2013 NHL All-Star Game and a combined 422 games through December 14, the league has decided to add to the list.

Cancellations through December 30 will cost the Phoenix Coyotes seven more games on their schedule, including road games at Columbus, St. Louis and Los Angeles and home games against St. Louis, Dallas, Los Angeles and Colorado.
