Former Arizona State golfer Phil Mickelson didn’t enter Saturday with much going for him after two rounds at the PGA Championship. One 6-under round of 66 later, and life is good.
Mickelson birdied nine holes in the third round of the tournament.
It helped that he was able to get out of trouble, landing this bunker shot close to the hole.

Mickelson has been having quite the adventurous PGA Championship.
Though he shot a 72 and 73 in the first two rounds, he seems to be enjoying himself out there. Lefty is probably enjoying himself more now that he’s back in the thick of things heading into the final day.
