Earlier Sunday afternoon, ESPN reporter Josina Anderson had the initial report that Johnson would miss Sunday’s game.

Johnson injured his hamstring on the last play of practice 11 days ago and has yet to suit up in a game for the team.
Fortunately, it seems like Johnson’s hamstring is getting better, and is close to returning.
Re: Chris Johnson not playing tonight, I was also told the new #Cardinals RB is “getting better but not ready to make full speed cuts.”

The seven-year veteran has ran for 8,628 yards with 51 touchdowns over his career, including a 2,006 yard season with Tennessee in 2009. He is expected to share the workload in the Cardinals backfield this season with Andre Ellington and David Johnson.
