Report: Scooby Wright did not sustain major injury, will have more tests over weekend

Scooby Wright did not have a major injury Friday and will have further evaluation of his knee this weekend according to Fox Sports’ Bruce Feldman.

Wright left the game against University of Texas-San Antonio with a left knee injury and did not return.


Arizona won the game 42-32. The Arizona defense had two touchdowns and allowed 525 yards.

Wright had a breakout season in 2014, winning the Nagurski trophy, the Lombardi award, and the Bednarik award. He had 163 total tackles, 14 sacks, and six forced fumbles.
