The Phoenix Suns roster grew to 18 this week.

On Wednesday, the Suns announced the signing of guard Deonte Burton, Forward Kyle Casey, forward Cory Jefferson, center Henry Sims and guard Terrico White.

Burton is a former WAC Player of the Year at University of Nevada, Reno. The 6-1, 190-pound guard  played with the Sacramento Kings during training camp in 2014 as well as NBA Summer League stints with the Washingotn Wizards and Philadelphia 76ers.

Casey, an All-Ivy League selection during his time at Harvard, played with the Brooklyn Nets during the 2014 NBA Summer League. The 6-7, 225-pound forward most recently played in Slovenia with KK Helios Suns Domzale.

Jefferson was the 60th pick of the 2014 NBA Draft by the Brooklyn Nets out of Baylor. The 6-9, 218-pound forward appeared in 50 games with Brooklyn.

Sims, a former center at Georgetown, has three NBA seasons under his belt. The 6-10, 248-pound center spent last season with the Philadelphia 76ers.

White was the 36th overall pick out of Mississippi in 2010 by the Detroit Pistons. Following his time with the Pistons, the 6-5, 215-pound guard spent time with the NBA D-League and overseas.

While 18 players will join the Suns in Flagstaff for training camp on Sept. 29, they won’t all be with Phoenix come Opening Day.

The NBA allows teams to have 15 players under contract once the season begins, with active rosters capped at 13 players. Opening day rosters are set on Oct. 26.

Phoenix begins the regular season at home on Wednesday, Oct. 28 as they take on the Dallas Mavericks.
