You might want to lay low for awhile, Anthony Melchiori.
And actually, you might as well take your whole punting unit with you because wow.
The Kent State punter notched this gem during Saturday’s matchup with Minnesota in Minneapolis. The Golden Flashes were actually keeping it pretty competitive against the Golden Gophers when this gem happened.
The high punt by Melchiori managed to not only be practically straight up, but it also had a healthy backspin on it so when it hit the ground, it bounced right back at the punter, and with the help of the coverage unit, bounced again for a total of two, yes two yards.
This seems to be the weekend of bad punts — Idaho State had this beauty Friday night.
