The Arizona Diamondbacks named outfield Socrates Brito and right-handed pitcher their Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year Tuesday.

Brito, a 23-year-old Dominican outfielder, batted .300 (147-for-490) with nine home runs and 57 RBI for Double-A Mobile in 2015. He also led the Southern League with 15 triples. Brito participated in the SirusXM All-Star Futures Game in Cincinnati in July.

He is rated as the organization’s 15th-best prospect by MLB.com. Brito was a September 1 call-up by the D-backs, and has seen action in 12 games, batting .333 (4-for-12) with two runs scored.

Blair, also 23, had a stellar season at two levels of minor league ball in 2015, going 13-5 with a 2.92 in 26 appearances (25 starts) between Triple-A Reno and Double-A Mobile. This marks the second straight season Blair has won this organizational honor, joining former pitcher Brad Penny as the only men to accomplish that feat.

Blair was a Southern League All-Star and was part of the silver medal-winning Team USA squad at the Pan-American Games in Toronto.

The former first-round pick is rated as the third-best prospect in the D-backs organization.
