As the 2015-16 NBA season inches closer and closer, roster moves will be commonplace between now and when the regular season tips off for real on Oct. 27.
The Phoenix Suns have already gotten to work on determining their opening night roster, as the team announced Tuesday that they have waived guard Deonte Burton after signing him to a contract on Sept. 16.
Entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014, spent last preseason with the Sacramento Kings before being waived prior to the start of the 2014-15 season.
Burton enjoyed a terrific four-year collegiate career at the University of Nevada-Reno, as the 6-foot-1, 190-pound guard average 16.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in 130 career appearances for the Wolf Pack, earning first-team All-Mountain West Conference honors during the 2013-14 season.
