PHOENIX — The Arizona Diamondbacks released their spring training schedule for the 2016 season Thursday which begins March 1 near Scottsdale.

Just as they have in the past five years, the D-backs will play 19 home games (and three away games against the Colorado Rockies) at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Their final series of spring training will take place April 1 and 2 at their regular season home, Chase Field.

Spring training will kick off with the annual Collegiate Series exhibition game against the University of Arizona on March 1 at 3:10 p.m. They’ll follow it up with their Cactus League opener — a home-away series against the Rockies.

The Diamondbacks have 14 games featuring their National League West opponents –five games against the Colorado Rockies, four against the San Francisco Giants, and two games each against the San Diego Padres and Los Angeles Dodgers.

Evening games will be March 16 vs. Cincinnati Reds, March 21 vs. Milwaukee Brewers, and March 22 vs. Giants, all at Salt River Fields, and March 19 vs. Seattle at Peoria Sports Complex.

General admission lawn seating will be priced $11-$15 and reserved seats range from $21-$37. Spring training ticket packages for all home games (U of A not included) range in price from $187-$544.
