A couple years ago, Nnamdi Asomugha was the hottest name on the free agent market.
Arguably the best cornerback in football, he surprised many by signing with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Two disappointing seasons later he’s been released, and according to ProFootballTalk, could make his next home in Arizona.
Asomugha, 31, owns 405 combined tackles and 15 interceptions for his career, but tallied just 95 and four, respectively, in his two years with the Eagles.
A 6-foot-2, 210-pound corner, he has excellent size and speed. Asomugha is a three-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro.
