Cardinals’ Whisenhunt overseas for Fourth of July

Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt and other coaches from around the league spent their holiday weekend in the Middle East.
The group of coaches — Gary Kubiak, Jim Mora Sr., Jim Mora Jr. and Whisenhunt — are there as part of the NFL-USO Coaches Tour.
Whisenhunt talked with The Arizona Republic over the weekend and said he has been getting many questions about the lockout.
“I think we’re going to have football,” he said. “Hopefully, that’s something that will work out in the near future.”
We, along with the troops, can only hope he’s right and we get to start thinking about training camp later this month.
The coaches made it over there in the middle of last week and are expected to return on Wednesday.
