Kolb worthy of first round pick, nothing else

The Arizona Cardinals need a quarterback.
While this is certainly not breaking news, and it may no longer even qualify as old news, it is still an issue that needs to be addressed.
“Do I want the Eagles to trade Kevin Kolb to the Cardinals? Yes I do,” Sports 620 KTAR’s Doug Franz said on Doug and Wolf. “Do I think the Cardinals should trade a first round pick for him? I actually do.”
While Franz is willing to give up a first round pick for Kolb, he stops there.
“Once you start asking me for a first and a second [round pick] or a first and a third of a player and a pick, no,” Franz said. “Kyle Orton and Matt Hasselbeck are too good and too out there for me to trade for Kevin Kolb. So do I want Kevin Kolb? Yeah, but I’m not breaking the bank to get him.”
Although he has only started seven games in his career, a lot of people think very highly of Kolb.
In his career he has thrown 11 touchdown passes and 14 interceptions, yet he is arguably the biggest quarterback name on the market right now.
The Cardinals would certainly be excited to acquire Kolb, yet the team and their fans need to be careful.
Philadelphia knows they have the hot commodity and the Cardinals need to make sure they solidify their quarterback position without trading away too much of their future.
This may mean settling for Hasselbeck or someone else, and the Cardinals need to be prepared for that as well.
