For the second time, former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner is a finalist to enter the Pro Football Hall of Fall.

Warner, who played for Arizona from 2005-09, is one of 15 players that 46 members of the selection committee will consider for entry into the Hall of Fame on Feb. 6.

Other Cardinal connections joining Warner as “modern-era” finalists are former Cardinals running back Edgerrin James (2006-08), offensive guard Alan Faneca (2010) and coach Don Coryell (St. Louis Cardinals, 1973-77).

Quarterback Brett Favre, receiver Terrell Owens, safety John Lynch, receiver Marvin Harrison, running back Terrell Davis, kicker Morten Andersen, safety Steve Atwater, coach Tony Dungy, linebacker/defensive end Kevin Greene, tackle Joe Jacoby and tackle Orlando Pace round out the list.

Additionally, “senior” finalists Ken Stabler and Dick Stanfel are up for induction, as is “contributor” finalist Edward DeBartolo Jr., owner of the San Francisco 49ers from 1977-2000.

Warner was also a finalist for the 2015 class. This is the first time as a finalist for James and Faneca, and Coryell’s third opportunity to enter the Hall of Fame
