Coyotes recall forward Christian Thomas from Springfield

GLENDALE, Ariz. — The Arizona Coyotes (23-19-5) have recalled 23-year-old forward Christian Thomas from the Springfield Falcons, the team’s American Hockey league affiliate.
General Manager Don Maloney announced the roster move earlier today.
Thomas has registered 3-4-7 in 15 games with the Falcons, and appeared in 18 games with the St. John’s IceCaps. In 26 career NHL games between the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens, Thomas has collected a line of 1-2-3.
Originally drafted by the Rangers in 2010, the Coyotes acquired Thomas in a trade with Montreal on Dec. 15, 2015.
Arizona travels to Minnesota to take on the Wild (23-17-8) on Jan. 25.
