The Phoenix Suns fired head coach Jeff Hornacek Monday morning after two-and-a-half years on the job.
Here’s a look back at Hornacek’s tenure in the Valley, by the numbers.

Hornacek became the 16th head coach in Suns history when he was hired May 28, 2013. He took over for interim Lindsey Hunter, who finished out the 2012-13 season after Alvin Gentry was fired.

The Suns’ longest winning streak under Hornacek. Phoenix won six straight from Mar. 19 to Mar. 28 in the 2013-14 season and matched that streak the next year, reeling off six wins in a row from Dec. 17 to Dec. 28.

Phoenix’s longest losing streak under Hornacek. It happened this season, from Dec. 20 to Jan. 3 and included an embarrassing defeat to the Philadelphia 76ers (who had one win at the time) and a 20-point blowout loss in Los Angeles to the Lakers, who were just 8-26 prior to the game.
