There are more important things for John Wall than basketball

When Washington Wizards All Star point guard John Wall has a bad night on the court, he knows there are a lot more people in world that have it worse off than he does.
One of these people was his friend Damiyah Telemaque-Nelson.
Damiyah was a 5-year-old girl Wall met through the Wizards that was battling cancer. It’s a friendship that grew stronger with each day and a friendship that has continued over a year after Nelson succumb to the cancer days before her sixth birthday.
It’s a relationship that once again proves the greatness of professional athletes how there are things in this world that are more important than personal egos.
