Promising D-backs are getting noticed

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — What do Brandon Drury, Peter O’Brien, Braden Shipley and Socrates Brito have in common? The four Diamondbacks made USA Today’s list of MLB’s 100 Names You Need To Know In 2016.
All four came to camp battling for a spot on the 25-man roster. Their focus is clearly on the field, not the internet. O’Brien said this was the first time he heard he was on the list and Drury didn’t even know what the list was about.
Cronkite News reporter Meghan Kuebler caught up with the four promising talents at Salt River Fields on Tuesday.
