Report: Cardinals work out long snapper Kameron Canaday

For the first time since the 2009 season, the Arizona Cardinals will have a new long snapper.
Mike Leach’s decision to retire after seven seasons with the team (and 16 in the NFL) put it in the position of having to find someone to fill a role that, quite frankly, few people ever think about.
Unless something goes wrong, of course.
In their quest to find their next long snapper, the Cardinals reportedly checked into a would-be rookie.
I'm told former #PortlandState long snapper Kameron Canaday has had private workouts with the #Cardinals and #Broncos.

The 6-foot-4, 245-pound Canaday was named an FCS Third Team All-America as a senior. There is not much in the way of statistics for him because again, long snapper.
