The Shootout: Is this Oliver Ekman-Larsson’s year?

Oct 16, 2014, 10:05 PM | Updated: 10:34 pm

Carter Nacke and Paige Dimakos are back at it this week because a big thing happened: The Arizona Coyotes have a new majority owner.

But is it a matter for concern? Rumors abound, but Andrew Barroway could be what the Coyotes need.

There’s also an important issue that needs discussing and that’s a goalie controversy. It’s way early in the season, but with a small sample size, it looks like Devan Dubnyk could challenge Mike Smith this season. Is there anything there?

Finally, is this the year Oliver Ekman-Larsson finally catches everyone’s eye? People on the East Coast have been ignoring him, but we’re thinking this is the year he gets noticed.
