Yeah, Vontaze Burfict is pretty good.
The Arizona State linebacker added another award to his collection Tuesday, as he was named Blue Ribbon Magazine’s National Defensive Player of the Year.
Burfict, who was also named a First-Team All-American by the magazine, is one of just two Pac-12 players on the list, as Stanford’s Andrew Luck also made the squad.
Arguably the best linebacker in the country, Burfict tallied a team-best 90 tackles last season to go along with 8.5 sacks.
Blue Ribbon Magazine also ranked the Sun Devils 20th in their preseason poll.
