It’s time for Vontaze Burfict to step up for Sun Devils

Vontaze Burfict is Arizona State’s best player, and now is the time for him to step up and lead his team to a big win.

“It’s time Vontaze,” Arizona Sports 620’s Ron Wolfley said. “Vontaze Burfict, my brother, it is time for you to lead this team and be everything you are supposed to be.”

All eyes will be on No. 7 for ASU Saturday, and after USC called he and his teammates out as being cheap shot artists, will likely receive a lot of attention from the Trojans offense. Thus, he has a chance to make a significant impact and help his team get another signature win.

It would be a huge win for the Sun Devils, and the team’s first over the Trojans since 1999.

And, as a former USC commit, Burfict helping his team get the win in its inaugural Pac-12 game would help place him among the very best in Sun Devil history.
