Deadline Saturday came and went in the National Football League, and unfortunately very few local products survived their respective team’s final cuts.

Only five players from Arizona State’s Pac-12 South championship team made a 53-man roster Saturday: LB Carl Bradford (Packers), DT Will Sutton (Bears), RB Marion Grice (Chargers), FS Robert Nelson (Browns) and DL Davon Coleman (Cowboys).

Grice, however, was waived Monday by San Diego, as the team looked to make room for a defensive lineman.

Only two players from Arizona’s 2013 squad made a 53-man roster: RB Ka’Deem Carey (Bears) and LB Marquis Flowers (Bengals).

Below are the list of players from all three local Division I universities who were released this weekend:

ASU:

• LB Chris Young

• S Alden Darby

• OL Evan Finkenberg

• S Keelan Johnson

• DE Gannon Conway

• LB Bradon Magee

*Note: TE Chris Coyle and WR Kevin Ozier was also cut earlier in training camp.

Arizona:

• CB Shaquille Richardson

• OL Eben Britton

• CB Trevin Wade

• WR Dan Buckner

• DE D’Aundre Reed

• S Nate Ness

*Note: WR Michael Thomas made the Houston Texans’ 53-man roster after sitting out all of 2013.

Northern Arizona:

• RB Zach Bauman
