Time set for Arizona State’s matchup with No. 16 USC

Sep 29, 2014, 12:48 AM | Updated: 1:32 am

Arizona State’s Week 6 meeting with Southern California had been scheduled for Oct. 4, but the time had not yet been announced — until Sunday.

The Sun Devils and No. 16 Trojans will kick off at 4:30 p.m. (Arizona time) at the Coliseum in Los Angeles next Saturday. The game will be televised on FOX and broadcast by MidFirst Bank Sun Devil IMG Sports Network on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.

ASU is 11-19 all-time against USC, but Todd Graham’s group won the last meeting 62-41 at Sun Devil Stadium on Sept. 28, 2013. The Devils haven’t won at the Coliseum since 1999, and they haven’t recorded consecutive wins over the Trojans since 1996-97.

The team fell to 1-1 in conference (3-1 overall) after being routed at home 62-27 by UCLA last Thursday. The loss was drastic enough to kick the Sun Devils out of the top 25 in the AP Poll.

USC is coming off a 35-10 drubbing of Oregon State (3-1, 0-1) on Saturday.
