The Arizona Diamondbacks got a bit healthier Friday, as the team announced it has reinstated outfielder David Peralta from the 15-day disabled list.
Peralta was placed on the DL with a back injury on June 20, retroactive to June 15.
In 41 games for the D-backs this season, the 28-year-old is batting .259 with four home runs and 15 RBI. He appeared in nine rehab games for Triple-A Reno, where he hit .276 with four doubles and two RBI.
To make room for Peralta, Thursday evening the team optioned Mike Freeman to Triple-A Reno.
