Arizona Cardinals’ Darnell Dockett extends Twitter ‘olive branch’ to A.J. McCarron

In January of 2013, while Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron was wrapping up his second straight BCS Championship by engineering a win over Notre Dame, Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman Darnell Dockett was preoccupied — by McCarron’s girlfriend.

Dockett took to Twitter and tried to start a conversation with Alabama beauty queen Katherine Webb. The veteran sent a number of tweets to Webb, until the ever-chivalrous McCarron stepped in.

Well, Thursday Dockett offered up an apology of sorts to McCarron, who has been linked to the Cardinals in a few mock drafts, for whatever that’s worth.
