ASU to play in CBE Hall of Fame Classic next season

Arizona State will take part in the 2014 College Basketball Experience Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City, MO, the National Association of Basketball Coaches announced Monday.
Joining ASU in the four-team field for the future mid-season tournament, which will be played on November 24 and 25, is Iowa State, Alabama and Maryland.
The four teams will play a semifinal doubleheader on the first day and a championship doubleheader on the final day.
“We look forward to being part of such a great event that honors tradition in one of the great basketball cities and states in America,” ASU head coach Herb Sendek said. “The Kansas City area loves basketball as much as any and we look forward to hosting a pair of games and beginning our season in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic next season.”
The complete bracket, including matchups and television broadcast times for the 2014 CBE Hall of Fame Classic, will be announce at a later date. All four games will be broadcast on the ESPN family of networks
