The NFL’s final cut deadline is 1 p.m. on Saturday, but reports have already begun naming Arizona Cardinals who haven’t made the 53-man roster.
Veteran linebacker Donald Butler, who previously played with the San Diego Chargers, did not make the roster, reports NFL.com’s Adam Caplan. Neither did veteran safety Chris Clemons, who played five years with the Miami Dolphins before spending last year in a reserve role with Arizona.
Cornerback Cariel Brooks was let go as well, reports Caplan.
On offense, Pro Football Talk reports receiver Jaxon Shipley didn’t make the final roster and running back Kerwynn Williams also fell victim to playing behind a deep position group, Caplan reports.
Receiver Marquis Bundy, a local product who showed well in the preseason finale, was waived, as were offensive linemen Rob Crisp and Antoine McClain, reports Pro Football Talk.
Offensive lineman Taylor Boggs reached injury settlement, according to team reporter Darren Urban.
