New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick is not exactly known for his sense of humor, so it should really come as no surprise that he does not get much of a laugh out of some of Bills coach Rex Ryan’s antics.
“I’m just focused on getting ready for the Bills,” Belichick told the New England media Wednesday. “I’m not really in tune to all of that. I’m sure it’s important to you guys but it’s not really anything I spend much time with.”
It’s his right to ignore Ryan, just as it is our right to laugh. And laugh, we are, as Ryan has been having some fun this week as he and his team prepare for a Week 4 matchup with the Patriots.
In a press conference with Bills media, Ryan did his best Belichick impression to kick things off, mumbling through his opening statement about the injury report, which he gave in Belichick-like fashion.
“You’ll get it on Wednesday. Simple as that,” he said. “You’ll get it [when we] turn it in.”
But that wasn’t all for Ryan, who later in the day joined with the Bills media who was on a conference call with Patriots receiver Julian Edelman and asked a question.
Wait, sorry, it was “Walt Patulski from the Buffalo News” who asked the question.

Edelman answered the question and in doing so provided nothing that could help Ryan with his gameplan.
Oh well, at least it was funny.
