The Cardinals made official on Wednesday the additions of long snapper Aaron Brewer, punter Ryan Quigley and linebacker Joplo Bartu.
Brewer snapped in all 64 regular season games and eight playoff games for the Denver Broncos the past four seasons. He was last with the Chicago Bears but was cut on Sept. 5. He is replacing Kameron Canaday, who was released Tuesday after struggling some over the first three games.
Quigley joins the Cardinals to fill in for Drew Butler, who suffered a sprained Achilles in Sunday’s loss to the Bills. He appeared in 45 games over the last three seasons with the New York Jets, for whom he placed 71 of 225 punts inside the 20-yard line and averaged 45.1 yards per kick, though his net average was 36.5 yards. He was with the Jacksonville Jaguars this offseason but was released on Aug. 29.
Bartu has appeared in 41 games across stints with the Atlanta Falcons and Jaguars. An undrafted rookie free agent pickup in 2013 out of Texas State, he has amassed 203 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, two passes defensed and two fumble recoveries. He spent this past preseason with the Jaguars until being released on Aug. 29.
In another move, the Cardinals placed linebacker Alani Fua on injured reserve.
