The Cardinals beefed up their practice squad on Thursday with the addition of guard Kaleb Johnson.
The 23-year-old Johnson spent training camp with the Cleveland Browns but was released in the team’s final roster cut on Sept. 3. He entered the NFL in 2015 with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Rutgers.
The 6-foot-4, 300-pound Johnson was on the Ravens’ active roster for two games last season but did not play in either, and was then released before being claimed by the Browns. He has yet to see any professional game action.
