The Arizona Cardinals made a handful of roster moves on Tuesday as the team heads into its bye week.

The Cardinals placed tackle Jared Veldheer and tight end Ifeanyi Momah on injured reserve. Veldheer suffered a triceps injury in Sunday’s 30-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers, whereas Momah hurt his wrist.

With the roster spots freed up by those moves, the Cardinals announced they had re-signed guard Taylor Boggs and moved safety Christian Bryant from the practice squad to the active roster.

Boggs spent the preseason with Arizona before being released on Sept. 3; Bryant joined the team’s practice squad on Oct. 4 after spending preseason with the Los Angeles Rams. A seventh-round pick out of Ohio State in the 2014 NFL Draft, he appeared in nine games for the Rams last season.

Along with those moves, the Cardinals also signed linebacker Zaviar Gooden and tight end Brian Leonhardt to their practice squad while releasing lineman Martin Wallace from the practice squad.

Gooden was originally a third-round pick of the Tennessee Titans’ in the 2013 draft out of Missouri, and has played in 25 career games with the Titans and Detroit Lions. He appeared in 15 games in 2014, collecting 20 tackles and two tackles for loss.

Leonhardt has played in 16 career games with the Oakland Raiders and San Francisco 49ers over the last two seasons, and had caught seven passes for 39 yards and a touchdown. The 6-foot-5, 255-pound player entered the league with the Raiders in 2013 as an undrafted rookie free agent from Bemidji State.
