Diamondbacks claim former Cardinals outfielder Hazelbaker

Shortly after the Arizona Diamondbacks named a new manager, the team also made a move for a player.
The Diamondbacks announced Friday that they have claimed outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker.
Today, the #Dbacks claimed outfielder Jeremy Hazelbaker from the Cardinals. Earlier today, pitcher Vicente Campos was claimed by the Angels.

Hazelbaker spent seven seasons in the minor leagues and moved all the way up the ladder until getting to the majors last season. He played in 114 games with the St. Louis Cardinals in 2016, and hit .235 in 200 at-bats.
The 29-year-old also hit 12 home runs, scored 35 runs and had 28 RBI with a .295 on-base percentage.
Former D-backs pitcher Vicente Campos was claimed by the Los Angeles Angeles. He pitched in just one game for Arizona and took the loss in a 13-0 blowout against Cincinnati after he gave up two earned runs and four hits in 5.2 innings.
