The world learned on Friday that LeBron James is a man of his word.
In late October prior to the start of the World Series, James’ former teammate and longtime friend Dwyane Wade had teased a bet between the two on their hometown teams. James, from Cleveland, would have to dress up in full Chicago Cubs gear if his team lost, while Wade, from Chicago, would have to do the same in a Cleveland Indians uniform had the Cubs come up short.
The pay-off would be the first game at home for the winner, and as the loser, James showed up in Chicago with his full Cubs outfit on Friday.
James took it in stride but was still less than thrilled about the entire situation. The Cubs, on the other hand, loved it.
