The Arizona Cardinals survived one of the most adrenaline-packed final two minutes of any NFL game this season in Sunday’s 24-20 home win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 6-1 Cards will soon move on to their next test against the NFC East-leading Dallas Cowboys, but Arians took a few minutes Monday to relive the final moments of Sunday’s thriller.
The Cardinals’ game-winning TD came on a third-down 75-yard pass from quarterback Carson Palmer to rookie wide receiver John Brown with 1:21 remaining. Arians said it was a play the Cards attempted to execute several times earlier in the game.
