Wildcats could be without top WR this season

Jun 29, 2011, 3:29 PM | Updated: 9:00 pm

The 2011 Arizona Wildcats football season could take a hit before the games even begin.

According to a report by the Arizona Daily Star, senior receiver Juron Criner may be out for a while.

All-Pac-10 receiver Juron Criner might not be available for training camp in August. Criner’s status for the 2011 season remains uncertain because of undisclosed medical reasons.

The medical reason that could keep Criner, who had 82 catches for 1,233 yards and 11 touchdowns last season, off the field is anyone’s guess.

Of course, it may not be a health-related issue at all.

As for rumors about Zona’s star WR Juron Criner: heard from a source that he is not hurt just some personal stuff needs sorting out.less than a minute ago via web Favorite Retweet Reply

Regardless, the team being so quiet about it leads many to speculate about what it could be, and while Wildcats fans would surely like to see their star back on the field, the most important thing is for the young man’s life to be in order.
