Ka’Deem Carey named the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Pac-12 Player of the Week

University of Arizona sophomore running back Ka’Deem Carey was named the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas Pac-12 Player of the Week on Wednesday.
In Saturday’s 52-17 win over Washington, Carey rushed the ball 29 times for a career-high 172 yards and a touchdown, with 109 of those coming in the first half alone. This put him over 100 yards for the third-consecutive game and the fifth time in seven games.
Carey’s fourth quarter touchdown tied him with Trung Canidate with 11 rushing scores in a season, fourth-most in school history.
Carey currently ranks 16th in the country with 842 rushing yards, while his 1,064 yards from scrimmage rank eighth.
The Wildcats welcome No. 10 USC to Arizona Stadium on Sat., Oct. 27 at 12:30 p.m.
