With Saturday’s dramatic, last-second win over Washington, the Arizona Wildcats (8-2, 5-2 Pac-12) remained in the chase for the Pac-12 South division championship. But they’ll need to keep winning and hope UCLA wins this weekend and loses the following week in order to secure their first-ever division crown.
ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura writes UA must win Saturday at Utah and at home vs. Arizona State on Friday, Nov. 28, and needs the Bruins to beat USC on Saturday and lose to Stanford on Nov. 28, in order to advance to the Pac-12 Championship Game.
UCLA’s game against the Cardinal kicks off at 1:30 p.m. — the same time the UA-ASU game will begin.
With just two weeks left in the regular season, five of the Pac-12’s South six teams — UA, ASU, UCLA, USC and Utah — remain in the hunt for the Pac-12 South title. The division winner will face Pac-12 North champion Oregon in the conference championship game Dec. 5 in Santa Clara, California.
