Arizona’s Kyle Fogg stepped up when his team needed him
most, and was rewarded for it with his second Pac-12 Player
of the Week award this season.
Fogg, a senior, averaged 18 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5
assists per game in Wildcat victories over USC and UCLA.
Arizona cruised to a 70-54 win over the Trojans on Thursday,
but needed every bit of Fogg’s game-high 20 points in a 65-
63 victory Saturday against the Bruins. Sixteen of Fogg’s
points came in the final 9:57 of the game, and his three
with 0:53 left capped a 17-7 UA run that put the ‘Cats up
six.
Fogg previously won the award on February 6, and joins
teammate Solomon Hill and Oregon State’s Jared Cunningham as
the only players in the Pac-12 to win the award more than
once.
