UA celebrates 25th anniversary of Final Four team

The annual McDonald’s Red-Blue game is less than a month away, and on this week the University of Arizona announced a group of special guests that will be in attendance

The University will honor the 1987-1988 men’s basketball team and celebrate the 25th anniversary of the team’s trip to the Final Four.

Former Wildcats Lute Olson, Jud Buechler, Sean Elliott, Steve Kerr, Kenny Lofton, Harvey Mason, Craig McMillan, Matt Muehlebach, Sean Rooks, Tom Tolbert, Joe Turner and manager Eric Meyer are all scheduled to make an appearance.

The Red-Blue game is an annual intrasquad scrimmage that will take place on October 21 at McKale Center. Fans in attendance will finally get a chance to see highly touted recruits Kaleb Tarczewski, Gabe York, Brandon Ashley and Grant Jerrett in action together.
